It's dark. A faint beam of light illuminates the silhouette of a young man in front of me. I have no fear. On the contrary - I am filled with strength and pride that I am a descendant of such a people as the Bulgarian one and with honor that this people has raised its Botev, Karadzha and Benkovski. It is the silhouette of a saint whose name is there in my heart, standing under the sign of immortality. The silhouette of a man whose name stands in the hearts of millions of Bulgarians. This young man is the Apostle - Levski.
This is the man who lives in me as ambassador between two times. The man whose voice forever echoes in me raises questions and thoughts, because this is the voice of a true Bulgarian, whose love cannot be passed over. Such is and such will continue to live in me Levski - true and eternal, intransigent and humble, devoted entirely to the liberation work, inspiring faith in his people as a true Apostle and messiah.
And behold, I see him before me with a face illuminated by that ray of light, caressing the faces only of those who have deserved to bear the name "man". And Levski was just that. He comes from the people and remains forever connected to them, sacrificing his life. The Apostle was one of all those sufferers at that time, but he differed in one of them - he was free in his slavery. He was not afraid of death, because he lived with dignity, he lived for his people and for his Bulgaria.
Our school bears his name - Levski's name. It's whose name you wear, but it's much more important to earn it. Because Levski's name is a symbol. Let us therefore together promote the glory of our school for shining from afar, as the sweat has shone on the forehead of our Apostle. Let us together make sure that our school deserves this name of its own and we are proud to say that we are students of a school with the name of Levski. Do we need Levski today? In today's time - a time of disloyalty, of crisis - economic and spiritual. We grow up amidst selfishness, petty material pursuits, crime, foreign worship. Levski is needed for Bulgaria today more than ever with his life example, with his ideas. Because whether we like it or not - it is our future, and if we want our future to be bright, better and better, the way it is in our dreams, then we must continue its holy deeds. And if everyone has their little place in the heart for Levski, then Bulgaria will have it and will endure! ... The beam of light does not go out and will never go out. He will continue to show me the way to the Apostle and lead me where he stands - under the sign of immortality.
