In the previous issue of c. "Tempo" was published the article of Eng. Cvetko Kanchev "On the Need for a Natural History Museum in Velingrad". In it, the respected connoisseur and lover of nature justified the idea of creating such a museum to present to the residents and guests of the resort rich flora and fauna of our Rhodope region. The proposal found wide resonance among the citizens of Velingrad and a meeting of supporters of the idea was called as early as January 17 in the State Forestry Department "Velingrad". All directors of state forest management from the municipality and three representatives from the Regional Forest Directorate - Pazardzhik were present. Among the first to support the proposal of Eng. Kanchev were the chairman of the Municipal Council - Velingrad Nejat Kehayov and the DPS councilor Yumer Hamza. Mr. Kanchev has explained in detail how he sees the creation of a Natural History Museum in our city. The participants in the meeting gave their support and decided to present the idea to the whole public of Velingrad. This will happen on January 31 at 5 pm in the municipality building. A guide will also be chosen at the meeting to drive the resolution of specific problems. The organizers invite all residents of Velingrad who are interested in the idea of a museum in Velingrad and love the native nature to visit the meeting on January 31 in the municipality. Tempo
