On December 1, during a search of a private home in Dorkovo, police found 2 hand grenades, 1 kilogram of powder labeled "ammonite", over 80 small-caliber cartridges and 108 antique coins. The owner of the home is 60-year-old J. A.S.
At the same time at the home of 40-year-old L. M. 29 pottery from different periods and 3 antique coins were found in Velingrad. It's from the house of 30-year-old N. K. Law enforcement officials have seized part of a map of a historic area and photographs of coins.
The action is on the occasion of an open investigation against three treasure hunters from Velingrad and Dorkovo, who were captured a few months ago in the area of the town of Rakovski. After the seizure of the above items, rapid police proceedings have begun, the Regional Directorate of Internal Affairs - Pazardzhik announced.
