Saedinenie Boulevard for the umpteenth time became the scene of a traffic accident caused by a "cocktail" of high speed and alcohol. On the evening of December 14, around 10 p.m., a BMW parked itself in a cell phone store. The car was coming from Chepino, the driver lost control and with high speed drifted to the pavilion and shop located at the corner of St. "St. Sv. Cyril and Methodius" to the triangular garden in Ledgene. The heavy car took away the kiosk and destroyed the outside wall of the store.
The driver of the BMW was a 32-year-old Velingradian P. Ch. The on-site DMV team tested for alcohol and the breathalyzer reported a 1.46 alcohol concentration. An investigative case was immediately instituted.
The case strongly resembles a similar action, in which a year and a half ago a drunk driver demolished the brick wall of the bus stop next to the Gergana block - a hundred meters from the site of the current accident. Apparently, despite numerous inspections by the Traffic Police, the additional traffic lights, the "lying policemen" situation on Boulevard "Sedinenie" does not tolerate positive changes. Both during the day and evening hours, the boulevard is a favorite place for "appearance" of well-earned fans of fast speeds. But it is not a good attestation for the state and the law and order authorities that there is no one to stop them and punish them. It remains only for citizens to complain and cross their fingers because of someone's action-performance not to hurt them or their property.
