I use the column of the newspaper "Tempo" "Direct speech" to express my disagreement with my release from the position of public educator, which I have been performing for three years now. On May 20 this year, at a meeting of the Commission for Combating Antisocial Manifestations of Juveniles, the question was raised for the first time as to why I and my colleagues are acting as a public educator. A week later, the chairman of the committee, Mr. Recep Hodzhov, submitted a request for me and my three colleagues to terminate our contracts. The Commission is not in full composition and does not make a decision. To my question why the change is necessary, I am given the answer that "this is what the mayor ordered", although there are no grounds for poorly done work. A day later, the committee met without public educators, where it was commented that they (the educators) should be replaced at all costs. On June 7, rumours have it that because an official minutes of the meeting have not been presented to me, a decision is being made to remove us from office.
In April and May, however, my colleagues and I have performed our duties and passed on reports on the basis of which we should be paid royalties. However, the mayor is not willing to sign the order for their payment, which is a violation of the law. In order to solve this problem, I will announce the Central Commission for Combating Anti-Social Behaviour in Sofia. After all these events, I get the impression that in the local commission there is an imposition of a decision under political pressure, evidence of which is the lack of any motives for our removal.
