The municipal council approved the proposal of the manager of Eurovodkomers Company Ltd. Yanko Peev to create a new company to start building microvets. The facilities will be made to high mountain water catchments, where there are several hundred meter drop of drinking water. The microvets will be installed on the waterway system of the Municipality of Velingrad, which was dedicated for 10 years of use to Eurovodkomers. An annex to this contract will be signed for this purpose.
According to Mr. Peev, this more efficient use of water resources will lead to direct additional revenues for the municipality and the municipal VKTV. The newly established trading company will make deductions from the net profit in favor of VKTV - 10% and the Municipality of Velingrad - 5%. As offensively low determined the percentage for the municipality, the councilor Zavarin Marov and offered at least 10%. It is not ethical to load Eurovodkomers, it is enough to be good owners, opposes Georgi Yanev. Only 6 councillors supported Mr Marov's proposal, so the municipality will have to expect 5% of the future net profit.
