Visiting Ethnographic Museum "Etara" On July 14 in the Historical Museum Director Snezhana Veleva opened an exhibition of Ethnographic Open-Air Museum "Etara". On the occasion of the exhibition I talked with the curator of the Crafts Department of Etara Etara Rositsa Bineva. For the readers of "Tempo" she shared that in 2004 the museum turned 40 years old and is the only open-air museum in Bulgaria that can afford to present both the preserved tradition and modern times. All this time his idea has always been to represent the culture of the Balkan man. In our museum they visit with the craft of woodworking, because it most fully presents and reveals the spirit and lifestyle of the people of the Balkan. "We boast," she shared, with fast rivers, with forests and engineering talent, which in practice means beauty and practicality. They're doing it all on their own. He chops down his tree, makes his own produce, and sells it himself. The Balkan man is a practical man. The lathe has been used for several generations and is passed down by inheritance and as the mother taught her daughter to spin and weave, so the father has taught his son to lathe." As for the question of when this craft came into being, no one can say - what is certain is that in the 18th-19th centuries it was in bloom. At the exhibition in our museum, Etara Etara is a guest with 130 items from the lifestyle of the Balkan people. The items made by Plamen Peev and Danail Krastev are exposed, which can also be purchased. The exhibition will be in Velingrad until the end of August. Two artists presented new books During the past week, poetic meetings of the artists from the literary club "N.Y.Vaptsarov" Avram Gerev and Ivan Koev were held with the fans of the art speech. The lecturer from the University of Plovdiv "Paisii Hilendarski" Assoc. Marin Kadiev, who is also the chairman of the Union of Independent Writers, presented Avram Gerev's latest book "In the Beginning Was the Word", which the author himself defines as "a basis for spiritual satisfaction". And it is probably because the book "In the Beginning Was the Word" is practically a small encyclopedia of the Velingrad spiritual world in recent decades. It contains sketches, reviews, essays on the artistic uplifts of Velingrad artists from all fields of art and science. Marin Kadiev is defined as "a kind of synthesis of spirituality in the fabulous Velingrad." Avram Gerev was awarded the Honorary Medal of the Union of Independent Writers. Just a day after the first meeting, the Art Gallery again welcomed the numerous connoisseurs of exquisite speech. This time the occasion was Ivan Koev and his poetry collections "Door for All" and "Fireplace". Broken stanzas and short verbless sentences, such structure, composition and rhytmomelodic in our literature, was the assessment of Assoc. Kadiev. Talent is known by the fact that it does not repeat itself, because the artist never repeats himself. The words in it sound new, and a wonderful rhythm and melodiousness are obtained. A poetry that sculpts feelings. And all this for Chepino, for Mom, for Bulgaria. Ivan Koev himself admitted to his readers: "I do not know how to compose poems, I write poems." Kadiev awarded Ivan Koev with the Honorary Medal of the Union of Independent Readers, and the artist Boris Kostov pleasantly surprised everyone by giving Ivan Koev and Assoc. Cadium plaques, and Avram Gerev's statuette. Local artists recreate Rhodope landscapes 11 artists from Velingrad present their paintings at the exhibition, arranged in the Art Gallery within the Festivals of Culture. It was opened by the deputy mayor tanya goncheva, and the curator of the gallery Branko Manushev presented his fellow artists. Like every year, the artists participate in a municipally funded plein air and donate two of their paintings to the gallery's fund. And works by Maria Kulaksuzova and Antoaneta Georgieva were the gift from the municipality of Velingrad to the visiting folk ensembles from Greece and Turkey. The exhibition includes canvases by Stoyan Belev, Branko Manushev, Zavarin Veselinov, Eleonora Hadjinikolova, Eli Stancheva, Neli Beleva, Simeon Stoilov, Svetoslav Baramov, Maria Kulaksuzova, Antoaneta Georgieva and Alyosha Kadyov, for whom this is the first such appearance. Much of the paintings are united by the theme of the Rhodope landscape and many of them recreate familiar nooks and crannies of the surrounding nature. Long live the Bulgarian folk song! How strong does the human spirit have to be to be able to welcome guests, sing, play, when only 5 days ago it experienced such a natural disaster that even the oldest have not heard of? On July 12, in the square "N. The ensemble for authentic folklore "Draginovo" with artistic director Greta Kadyova, choreographer Alexander Peev and head of the orchestra Mitko Dedov showed that the power of the human spirit is infinite. The winners of the "Golden Axe" from Zakopane despite the terrible tragedy proved their professionalism, and Greta Kadyova wished: "May the Bulgarian folk song live, so that we too may be alive and be alive! Let the Bulgarian folk song be alive, which connects us with the whole world!" Guests of the ensemble from Draginovo and Velingrad were the performers from the folk ensemble of the town of Silivri, Turkey. After their visits in Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Macedonia, Greece, Andorra and several times in Bulgaria, they also sang in the square in our city. The ensemble was established in 1985, has won 6 gold and 1 bronze medals from international festivals. Its creator and leader is Kemal Erdoldu. For the citizens of Velingrad and the guests of the city they presented the "Thracian Authentic Games". During the past week, a lot of folklore has sounded from the stage of the square: on 11 July, the composition of the community center "Prosveta" Sarnitsa, "Rakita" from Rakitovo and "Studenica" from the town of Kraljevo Ue, Serbia took part. On July 13, they sang and danced the ensemble of Community Center "V. Levski", kv. Kamenica and their guests from Kocani, Macedonia. The following evening, the audience enjoyed the performances of the Chepino Ensemble and folk ensemble from Thessaloniki, Greece, and Friday morning was allotted to the Vojvoda Janko Kapic Ensemble from Serbia. On 14 July, at the initiative of the Society for the Protection of the Rhodopes, a plaque was placed in the area "Vlasa", where centuries ago there was a Christian temple. Rainy weather shortened the prepared art program, but Father Anton consecrated the place. With candles lit, the attendees listened to the historical data presented by the chairman of the company, Georgi Pashov. A congratulatory address to the members of the Society for the Protection of the Rhodopes on the occasion of the opening of the commemorative sign was sent by the director of SBR-NK - Velingrad Branch Dr. Ilza Popova. The two slabs of hewn stone are located on bul. "Unification", near the hot mineral spring "Vlasa" in the district. Kamenitza. The famous ladies instrumental quartet "INTRO" performed on the evening of July 16. The musicians are known as the Bulgarian version of "BOND" and gathered a huge audience on the central square "N. Gyaurov". ESTRADA The popular songs group with head Ivan Kazaliev and the old town songs group Evridika from Kostandovo with head Nikola Yanev brought a lot of mood and good emotions with their concert on July 15. For the lovers of the pop song, two consecutive Sunday evenings on the Velingrad stage were sung by the beloved by the audience pop artist Hristo Kidikov.
