10 competitors of PK "Chepinets" participated in the state personal-team swimming championship for men and women, which was held from 11 to 13 March in Plovdiv.
First individual medal in women won Monika Trifonova, who is third in 50 meters back. Bronze medal also won Polina Mihailova in 100 m combined swimming.
In the relays, the women's four of PK "Chepinets" took two-quarters of the seats. In the 4x50 m freestyle relay they participated in the composition Polina Mihailova, Monika Trifonova, Vanya Padinkova and Dimitrina Papazova. In the mixed relay instead of V. Padinkova in the composition started Karamfilka Shalamanova.
Illness stopped from participation in men Ivan Batsanov, Georgi Shalamanov started ill, and the other swimmers of "Chepinets" ranked among the top ten. The relay team Ivan Halachev, Georgi Shalamanov, Petar Demirev and Ilian Boyadzhiev finished seventh in the 4x50 freestyle and 4x50 mixed starts.
On 19 and 20 March in Plovdiv was held the most massive competition of the season: over 300 swimmers from 32 clubs participated in the age groups children and "Merry Dolphin".
Excellent ranking for PK "Chepinets" recorded Vilma Mihailova - championship title of 50 m butterfly and bronze honors of 50 m st. style and 50 m back. In the first eight were Dimitar Pitsev, Plamen Semerdzhiev, Vera Vargova and Vasilena Karamanova. Personal results were achieved by Stoil Nikolov, Eli Daskalova, Veronika Manuilova, Nikola Bilyarski and Ilko Semerdzhiev.
The coaches expressed their satisfaction, as for most swimmers this is the first start of such a competition. And in the summer they will wait for success from the new generation of swimmers.
