On March 27, a report-election meeting of the local council of DPS was held in Rakitovo. 94 people attended and the meeting was greeted by Ahmed Hadzhiyski from the General Assembly of the MRF - Pazardzhik and activists of the movement of Velingrad, Peshtera, Draginovo and Kostandovo.
DPS Chairman Sherif Topchiev in his report reprimanded the members of the DPS for their weak activity during the elections, which prevented for protections to the supreme leadership. Common in the speeches of the people of the hall were the problems with unemployment and the low social status of the electorate. Mr. Hadzhiyski shared these problems and advised the attendees to choose a stable leadership to lead the population under the program for the Rhodope massif.
Of the two proposals made for the chairman - for Sherif Topchiev and for Yusein Seidev, 63 of those present supported the candidacy of Mr. Seidev. A further A were elected as members of the local council of the DPS. Krapchev, Em. Kozova, B. Kropchev and M. Chukalov.
The Chairman of the Municipal Council - Rakitovo Vihra Uteva wished successful joint work with the new management because "We can do something when we unite". The assembly has ended with the announcement of quotas for the upcoming municipal conference, which will be attended by 19 delegates from Rakitovo, 15 from Kostandovo and 5 from Dorkovo. After three hours of work, the meeting ended with a general desire for better work and more visible results.
