At the invitation of Vrid Mayor Atanas Vodev guest of Velingrad on July 1 was the Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Jordan in Bulgaria Mr. Hasan Barmawi. He met with Mr. Vodev and the deputy mayors E. Glaveeva and M. Karamolla and later visited the Abir Hotel (the former Zdravets) - one of the Jordanian investments in our city.
In front of v. "Tempo" the consul said: "It is an honor to be in Velingrad and in this beautiful region. As a new mission in Bulgaria, we pay great attention to each municipality. We hope that Velingrad will play a big role in the development of bilateral relations, especially in the sphere of tourism. Here we have Jordanian investments that we support. We are proud that our businessmen find a serious partner in the face of the Municipality of Velingrad."
To the invitation of the Minister of Municipalities Mr. Vodev to visit Jordan, the Honorary Consul also added an invitation to businessmen, tour operators and construction companies from Velingrad to go on site in the kingdom and see the business opportunities. A delegation from the Municipal Council is also welcome to exchange experiences in Jordan, Mr Barmawi said.
