Forget the Chaika Holiday Station - the four stars of the Olympus Hotel are already shining in its place. The base of BMF - Varna from its good years or after the pogrom they subjected it to in 1994. The refugees from Bosnia who are accommodated here are now only in the memories. Opened on July 3 in the evening, the Olympus SPA Center is only in the same place, but everything in the building is new and completely different.
In the presence of dozens of guests, the ribbon of the new hotel was cut by NDSV MP Lyutskan Dalakchiev, and a solemn water sanctity was served by hieromonk Antony from the Plovdiv Seminary. The three owners of the hotel - Petar Kirov, Angel Manolov and Marius Chukalov excitedly thanked all their friends and partners for their cooperation. A special gratitude was given to the godfather of the hotel Nikolay Iliev, who promised the attendees: do they come to Velingrad to stay at "Olymp". And the head of the Branch Chamber of Hoteliers and restaurateurs Blagoy Ragin in his own style reported that with "Olymp" Bulgarian balneology has climbed another peak. Velingrad can attack Everest directly when it also implements the Sutka project.
I have been to many places around the world, but I am delighted with "Olymp", said the host of the program Georgi Mamalev. Superlatives for the new hotel were also heard from the other guests, including many municipal councillors, the temporary mayor Stoyan Dulev together with Fidel Beev and Deputy Mayor Hodzhov, known as the volleyball ace and owner of the hotel Dimo Tonev, the head of FM+ Radio Petar Punchev, Italian economic experts Gabriele Parente and Agostino Ambrodgeti. For all of them, besides numerous cocktail temptations, the hosts had prepared more than an impressive program featuring the "UFO", the guitarists from "Fuego", Maria Ilieva and last but not least the ensemble of the girls from the NSA, who brought an incredible spectacle of synchronized swimming in the pool of "Olymp". In front of the hotel entrance, 4 brass orchestras played and danced 4 cheerleading ensembles - a gesture to the alumni of the Velingrad brass orchestra A. Manolov and M. Chukalov. And the fireworks for the opening of the hotel surpassed those that minutes before lit up the sky in celebration of the Day of Velingrad.
"Olymp" will protect its 4 stars with 73 rooms, a tavern, a restaurant, a lobby bar, 2 conference rooms. An important place is given to the beauty center, which works with the renowned cosmetics "Maria Galant" and the super-modern balneological part, we learned from the manager of the hotel Vanya Manolova. After two years of extensive renovation plus investments of the order of 5 million leva, today the Olympus Hotel provides 55 jobs for the citizens of Velikograd. And for the guests of our city - another place that will make them choose for their holiday and entertainment Velingrad.
