During the past week the structures of UDF on the territory of Velingrad held the first meetings for the autumn-winter political season. The socio-political situation in the city and the municipality was discussed, delegates were elected for the Regional Conference of UDF, which will be held on September 25 in Pazardzhik. Local club Ludjene has already a new chairman and this is Mr. Krustyo Krastev.
At the meeting of the municipal leadership of the UDF held on September 7, it was decided to go before the public of Velingrad and the municipality with a declaration to express the position of the party in the situation created (the text of the declaration we publish separately). It was also decided to hold a general meeting of the Velingrad organization immediately after the regional conference of the UDF, at which the chairman of the party in the city Dr. Cv. Dafov to make an analysis of the work of the Municipality in recent months.
