By order of October 2, the appointed mayor of the municipality Angel Toporchev banned the use of municipal transport vehicles, technical equipment, telephones, xeroxes, computers and faxes for the needs of the election campaign by the candidates and their election headquarters. The order regulates the order of holding rallies and meetings in the open air, prohibiting citizens with guns, in a drunken state and masked. All officials from the administration who have gone on paid leave are prohibited from visiting their workplaces and using their official position in the interest of the election campaign.

CONGRESS From 8 to 10 October in BLC "Kamena" the Institute for Emergency Medical Care "Pirogov" once again organized a congress on thoracic and abdominal surgery, which will be attended by the most prominent doctors in these areas. At the proposal of the manager of Kamena and municipal councilor Georgi Mihaylov, the session voted to give 1000 leva from the municipality as co-organizer of the event.

GRUNCHARICA The Ministry of Economy issued a permit for prospecting and exploration of metal minerals in Grancharica by KCM 2000 Plovdiv. The company will carry out the study within 3 years on an area of 193 sq.m.

SESSION The municipal council meets on 7 October. A key item on the agenda is the proposal that the restituted property of heirs Maslarovi be contributed by the municipality to the new company for the completion of the Cultural House. The councillors will confirm the expenses for the mayor's business trips, will consider proposals of "Amos Sport" and Tourist Society "Ostrets", will update the budget once again.

SEMINARS The Director of the Vocational High School of Economics and Tourism Al. Tabakov from 9 to 12 of October will be at a workshop in Germany on the Leonardo project. On 9 and 10 October in Velingrad will be held a seminar for teachers in grades II and XII, which is funded by the World Bank.

On October 6, the municipality launched this year's autumn cleaning, which will continue until the end of the month. The neighborhood schedule is now ready. On October 8 and 9, it will be cleaned up along the street. "Mavrikovi Brothers", "Unification", "Nikola Vaptsarov", "Lenishta" and in kv. Anesthesis. For 10, 13 and 14 October, Lenishta, Saedinenie, Evlogi Georgiev, Kalachov Bridge, Patriarch Evtimii, Khan Asparuh streets are planned.The employees of the Municipal Administration will take part in the cleaning in the afternoon of 17 October.
