ARCHITECT The Supreme Administrative Court restored Todor Enev to the post of Chief Architect of the Municipality of Velingrad. The judgment was dated February 1, 2005. Among the motives with which the excmet F. Beev has fired the chief architect, and there is also a participation in a rally undermining the mayor's authority. It appears that the judges judged such a motive unlawful.

BUDGET On February 8, the public discussion of the budget of the municipality of Velingrad for 2005 begins. The discussion will be held in the great hall of the municipality, citizens and associations have the right to participate in the public discussion under a procedure adopted by the local parliament.

QUEST The four Green Party councillors have made an inquiry to the chairman of the Municipal Council and the interim mayor. The question contains 11 questions that councillors insist on answering at the upcoming emergency session.

The municipalities in Rakitovo decided to rent out the polyclinic in Rakitovo, the health service in Dorkovo and the health home in Kostandovo. The rental price for the three health institutions is 0.90 lv/sq.m. As they are devoted to health needs, no tender or competition will be held. The lease has a term of 1 year as of January 1, 2005.

The completion of the jury numbers for the Regional Court - Velingrad continues. In Velingrad, applications are submitted to the Public Order Commission of the Municipal Council chaired by Venko Bozev. In Rakitovo, the jurors have already been elected: A. Govedarsky, G. Garalov, D. Tronchev, I. Krivonozov, P. Harriskov, M. Stoilova, M. Vandev, F. Chepilov, N. Mastravchiev and T. Bankov.

DIRECTOR After a competition was held by the Regional Inspectorate of the Ministry of Education the directorship in the School of Education boarding school "A. Uzunov" in Rakitovo borrowed the old-new director Georgi Yanushev.
