From July 6 to 24, the Bulgarian Red Cross will distribute food products to socially disadvantaged citizens under the European Union's Food Distribution Programme. The aid is for people who have received targeted funds from MLSP for the heating season 2008/09. Each of them will receive against an ID card 2 kilograms of flour and 3 kilograms of rice and sugar. The BRC will organize food distribution points.



Employees of the police station - Velingrad received awards on the occasion of the celebration of the Ministry of Interior. On July 2, Veselina Djarova and Atanaska Petrova were awarded in the Hall of the Regional Administration by order of the Head of the Regional Directorate of the Interior Emil Ganchev for their initiative and achieved high professional results. By order of Gen. Commissioner Plamen Dimitrov and diploma was awarded to the chief of the police station - Velingrad ch. Insp. Yordan Rogachev - for achieved high results and substantial contribution to the performance of official duties.

The Municipality of Velingrad has acquired a car "Renault Espace". The car was provided to the municipality by the Ministry of Finance under the State Debt Collection Act.

Roads The Regional Road Administration starts patching roads for rally "Bulgaria", which will be held from 17 to 19 July. The repairs will be in the sections Varvara - Lesichovo, Pazardjik - Boshulya - Vetren - highway "Trakia". Along the road Yundola - Belovo besides patching will be done and cleaning of landslides and collapses. On 29 June, the Regional Police Department - Pazardzhik cleared the road of numerous stones and fallen wood, as a team from the Velingrad Road Authority ensured the safety of the traffic.

The results of the seventh graders applying for the elite schools and classes were published. There are no sixes in the Pazardzhik region, the highest score in Bulgarian is 5.91, and in mathematics 5.14. There are 38 couples, 37 of them are in mathematics.

PIANO On June 29, the piano school at ONC "Otets Paisiy" gave its annual concert. The audience applauded the performances of the graduates of Stoyanka Encheva: Alexander Nalbantov, Alexandra Maslarova, Dimitar Bayraktarov, Yordanka Bayraktarov, Katerina Zareva, Svetoslav Kepchelev, Stefanka Ruseva and the duet Milka Horozova - Nadezhda Gergova.
