DEPUTY On September 28, Sofia City Court acquitted DPS MP Fidel Beev in the case of the beating of Kostadin Piskov in June 2003. The Court considered that it could not be proved that it was F. Beev did the average bodily harm to K. Piskov. F. Beev must pay a fine of 3,000 leva on a civil claim by the victim. The decision is subject to appeal.
