PLAN Municipality signed a contract for the development of a General Spatial Plan of Velingrad. The contractor will be the Sofia-based company National Center for Territorial Development EAD. The amount that the municipality will pay is BGN 35,000.

Asphalt Concrete - Sofia won the public procurement for repair and restoration of street pavements in Velingrad. For asphalting at the moment the municipality has provided 120 000 leva and is waiting for additional funds from Executive Agency "Roads" and under the SAPARD program.

Dogs The 14th action against stray dogs will take place on 9 October. The action will be in the morning on Tuesday in the downtown area. The municipality again reminds owners of domestic dogs not to let them on the streets without a collar and companion.

BRC In the rest base of the Council of Ministers in Velingrad, the Bulgarian Red Cross conducted training for actions in natural disasters and first aid. Civil Protection representatives from all over the region took part, the lecturers were doctors from Pazardzhik and Panagyurishte.

Clarification: The Municipal Council - Velingrad specified that the decision to allocate 21,000 levs for sewerage and water supply of Krastava was adopted. 16 councillors voted for it.
