FOLKLORE On October 3, 2009. The eighth national festival of men's folk singing groups and individual performers - "Razlog-2009" was held in Razlog. The men's folklore group from the town also took part in the program. Kostandovo. After the participation of more than 30 groups from all over the country, the jury, chaired by academician Nikolay Kaufman, awarded first place to group "Star merak" Bansko and to the men's folklore group at community center "Prosveta" Kostandovo with a cash prize of 90 leva and a diploma for first place.



By decision of the Supreme Judicial Council, a new term as the administrative head of the Regional Court - Velingrad was given to Veselin Petrichev. Judge Petrichev became president of the court in October 2004. and remained in office, and there were no other candidates in the competition.

The Historical Museum in Velingrad celebrated 7 October - the international day of the museum's friends. The celebration was combined with a screening of a film about the Balkan War.

Employees of DLS "Alabak" carried out checks in the homes of three residents of the village of Vranentsi - M. B., 26, A. K., 34, M. M., 40 years old. A total of 25 cc of coniferous wood without a control mark and permits were found. A visit was also made to the police station - Velingrad. The three were detained for 24 hours in custody, rapid police proceedings are underway.

DREGGER 33-year-old P. S. from Rakitovo was caught driving with 1.43 per milla alcohol, and A. K., 63. from Velingrad with 1.46. Violators are detained for 24 hours.
