At a seminar in Sozopol from 15 to 19 October went the mayors of Velingrad and Rakitovo Tzv. Dafov and G. Mikhailov. The seminar is organized by the Institute of Public Administration. Dr. Dafov reported that the mayors use only trips for going and returning, and the rest is at their own expense.

An 8-year-old girl was injured in a crash between a Subaru passenger car and a wagon. The child had a broken leg, and the collision occurred on the road to Asphalt Base. The scene lacks the necessary markings, although it is adjacent to the IV primary school.

The two deputy mayors of Velingrad devoted themselves to legal sciences. Snezhana Veleva and Angel Toporchev will complement their previous qualification with a second higher education in the field of law.
