WATER Water in kv. Kamenitsa is fit for drinking, reported by VKTV - Velingrad. Hyperchlorination has been performed, studies have found no deviations from standard chemical and microbiological values. After the last rains over the weekend, however, the water is again visibly cloudy.



Reception hall of the Regional Inspectorate of Environmental Protection will be held on April 21 in the municipality of Velingrad. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the small hall on the second floor, RIEW experts will answer citizens and business representatives to questions related to ecology and environmental legislation. The reception hall is on the occasion of the World Earth Day 22 April.

On April 15, a seminar for directors and medical specialists from kindergartens in the municipality was held at the Radost Kindergarten in Velingrad. Lecturers were specialists in nutrition and dietetics from RIOKOZ - Pazardzhik: Dr. Ivanka Ilcheva explained the basic principles of healthy eating, and Dr. Nadia Paliyska gave recommendations for daily menus for children from 3 to 7 years.

SERBIA On April 17 and 18 students and lecturers from Secondary School "V. Levski" visited the town of Vrcin, which is located 20 km from the capital of Serbia Belgrade. The purpose of the excursion was to sign a cooperation agreement with the St. Sava School in Vrin, as well as to serve flowers on the plaque of Vasil Levski on the Tash megdan in Belgrade.

On April 19, the association of Velengrad women "Tender Strength" turned 2 years old. The ladies will celebrate the birthday with an outdoor barbecue near Velingrad on April 24.

The translator and poet from Pazardzhik Maria Genova visited the Veliko Tarnovo Rotary Club on April 13. She presented the books of the Czech journalist and writer Vladimir Sis "The Critical Days of Bulgaria", dedicated to the Inter-Allied War and "The First", telling about the builders of the Baronhir Railway.
