At the invitation of Hebar Association, in which the Municipality of Velingrad is a member, Mayor Ivan Lebanov will participate in a seminar in the Greek city of Trikala. The forum is from 27 to 30 October, and the theme sounds topical for our city: "Introducing Intelligent Transport Systems for Traffic Management".



On the occasion of October 12 - the day of the Bulgarian municipality, orders for promotion in rank were received by civil servants from the Municipal Administration: Yanka Petrova, Nedyalka Stefanova, Georgi Yanev, Todor Enev, Snezhanka Tsanova, Ivan Dumanov, Katya Georgieva, Vladimir Despotski, Kalinka Yovcheva, Tanya Kalvacheva, Vesselina Veleva-Zlateva, Yana Savova. Their orders were given by Mayor Ivan Lebanov, who on the occasion of the holiday sent a congratulatory address to the OA and to the Municipal Council.

The BSP Velingrad Organization of the BSP held a plenum on October 15 and voted a declaration to the delegates at the emergency meeting of the 47th Congress. It states that the work of the congress should be aimed at a thorough analysis of the coalition government and an adequate assessment of the election results. The primary goal is the unity and preservation of the BSP rather than solving interpersonal ambitions and interests. Delegates of the congress on Sunday from Velingrad were Ivan Lebanov, Toma Pachalov, Georgi Yanchev, Ganka Kandeva and Plamen Alekov.

Furniture Velingrad companies, association "Rodopska furniture" and PGD "Iv. "Vazov" took part in the Fifth specialized exhibition "The World of Furniture" in the capital, where manufacturers and distributors from the woodworking and furniture industry from all over the country meet.

10 YEARS On October 14th, Yundola was marked 10 years since the construction of the chapel "St. Petka Bulgarian" with the active participation of WOGS "G. Avramov". It was kept the tradition of the feast of one of the most revered Bulgarian saints to be served a solemn service and to give a qurban for health and prosperity.

The Municipal Council voted 41,000 leva for replacement of the boiler and repair of the heating system in the building of the municipality of Velingrad. The 1979 boiler. is drilled, and only cast iron can be installed in its place in the underground floor.
