GLOBE Administrative Court - Pazardzhik left in force 8 penalty decrees imposed on the mayor of the municipality of Velingrad Ivan Lebanov by the Agency for State Financial Inspection in an audit in 2009. The decisions of the court are final and the fines imposed on the mayor are 200 leva.



At 11 o'clock on September 22 in front of the building of the municipality of Velingrad, the solemn celebration of Bulgaria's Independence Day will begin. The program will be attended by the Representative Brass Orchestra with a cheerleading squad "Dimitar Mechev".

MOBILITY Velingrad is among the cities that joined the European Mobility Week (16 - 22 September). The motto of this year's campaign is "Travel Smarter, Live Better", and the focus is to reduce road traffic in cities, air pollution, noise, stress. The week-long program provides hiking trips to the intersection of 42 meridians and 24 parallels near Velingrad and the "Five Brothers" locality. During the week they will participate with school marches and schools in Krastava and Pobit stone.

GRAMOTA The Ministry of Culture awarded a diploma Historical Museum - Velingrad during the international craft fair in Etara a week ago. The diploma is given to our museum for its activities related to the preservation of traditions.
