The interim mayor Stoyan Dulev on August 19 issued orders announcing competitions for managers of the two municipal companies VKTV and Stroycom. Currently, temporary managers by decision of the Municipal Council are Nikola Deliev and Todor Kyutov. The deadline for submission of documents by those wishing is September 3. The competitions will be held in the form of an interview and presentation of a management concept.

MINISTER Part of his summer vacation is expected to spend in Velingrad the Minister of Culture Bozhidar Abrashev. Mr. Abrashev and his wife Lyulina have been spending at least a few August days with friends in Velingrad for several years.

TOUR On August 26, the Representative Brass Orchestra and majorette ensemble of Velingrad depart for the Thessaloniki Municipality of Sindos. They will visit the Greek amateurs who participated in the Velingrad Festivals of Culture this summer and will perform several concerts. This summer, the actor Vasil Mihailov did not betray the tradition of visiting the Velingrad stage. On August 19 at the community center in Ludzhene, he played the lead role in the play "The Wilds" based on the story "Dervish Seed" by Nikolay Haytov and works by F. Marinsky and V. Jordanov. The performance impressed with the musical layout, for which the performance of G. Kirkelanov was awarded the Askeer.
