Six delegates and seven guests from Velingrad participated in the congress of BSP on 22 and 23 November. The chairman of the municipal organization, Toma Pachalov, reported that the citizens of Velingrad were particularly pleased, as three of our fellow citizens were elected members of the High Council of the party: Mayor Ivan Lebanov, the head of the State Forestry Agency Stefan Yurukov and the Secretary of the Council of Ministers Veladin Bitolski.

SESSION Only 19 items are on the agenda for the regular session of the Municipal Council. The meeting is scheduled for November 27, Thursday.

The celebration of the Christian family November 21 - Introduction of the Virgin Mary, was marked with a water blessing of the chapel "St. Elijah" over Kleptuza. Many people gathered around the lean Friday table to honor the tradition. The main organizers were the veteran tourists from Ostrets and the Pensioners' Club in Chepino.

RESERVE The Municipal Council of the Union of Officers and Sergeants from the Reserve and the Reserve held a meeting at the Bonjour Restaurant. Although this is mandatory under the Biodiversity Act, only 8 wild goat trophies and 3 wild cat trophies have been registered in the entire Pazardzhik region on time. The RIEWs warn that they are starting checks for unannounced hunting trophies of the protected species and remind the sanctions: from 50 to 2000 levs for individuals and from 100 to 5000 levs for legal entities.
