EXPERIENCEThe deputy mayor Ismet Babuchi and the chief ecologist of the municipality Stanimir Zhivkov took part in a three-day international seminar in the capital. The seminar was opened by Deputy Minister of Environment Evdokia Maneva.

The Regional Inspectorate of Environmental Protection and Waters has issued one-month prescriptions to the mayors of Dorkovo and Kostandovo to clean up the illegal landfills formed around the settlements. The RIEW also reported that there were violations of the technical and biological reclamation at the already closed landfill in Kostandovo.

The Union Organization of the Blind in the municipalities of Velingrad and Rakitovo reports that it will hold its regular reporting-election meeting on May 26 at 10 am in the big hall of the municipality.

SONGS The group for old urban songs "Eurydika" at the community center "Prosveta" Kostandovo visited the Cultural Club of the Pensioner in Kamenitsa, where guests from the clubs in Ledgene and Chepino and from the club "Health and Longevity" gathered. The concert featured songs based on lyrics by the poets Angel Pachalov and Angel Goranov and music by the band leader Nikola Yanev-Choli.
