The local organization of BSP decided to start collecting a petition in support of the idea for commissioning of Units 3 and 4 of the Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant. The subscription is collected in neighborhoods in Velingrad.

On January 21, Deputy Mayor Ismet Babuchi participated in a meeting with Minister of Environment and Water Dzhevdet Chakarov. The ministry discussed the readiness of the municipalities in the region to create a regional landfill and general waste management.

SCHOOLS The Head of the Regional Inspectorate of the Ministry of Education Boyka Marinska held meetings with the management of the municipalities of Velingrad and Rakitovo on January 22.
