During the week the mayors of Velingrad Ivan Lebanov, Rakitovo Angel Govedarski and Batak Petar Paunov met and talked again about the problems in front of the project for the sports and tourism center "Sutka". Mr. Lebanov has also posed to Mr. Govedarski the question whether a place for the construction of a new landfill of Velingrad could be found on the territory of Rakitovo municipality due to the expiration of the old one.

The Municipality of Velingrad has started the formation of a municipal parking lot at the entrance of Kleptuza Park. The area has been cleared, sidewalks are being formed, asphalting and plotting of the future parking lot is forthcoming.

A three-month-old baby from the Roma neighborhood of Anezica in Velingrad was taken away for an emergency operation in Pirogov in the capital. Little Verka M. suffered 30% deep burns from hot fryer fat. From the Emergency in Velingrad the child was sent for treatment in the children's resuscitation in Pirogov.

INDUSTRIAL Deputy Mayor Ismet Babuchi met with business owners in the Industrial Zone. The meeting was at the insistence of the workers in the zone because of accumulated problems with infrastructure and cleanliness over the years.

On July 23, Mayor Ivan Lebanov took part in the celebrations in Belovo on the occasion of 135 years since the establishment of the railway line Tsarigrad - Belovo. In front of the numerous guests of the jubilee, the hosts have shown the "royal train" along the Pazardzhik - Septemvri - Belovo route and the supermodern German "Desire".
