On the morning of September 29, an extraordinary session of the Municipal Council was held. The councillors voted on who would hold the office of mayor until the election where the current mayors are running again. The incumbent Deputy Mayor Angel Toporchev was appointed mayor of the Municipality of Velingrad until the elections.

On September 24, the Board of Sutka 2000 AD was held. The municipalities of Velingrad and Rakitovo to file a lawsuit in SAC on the decision not to coordinate the EIA report of the project, the shareholders have decided.

District Governor Ivan Dimitrov returned 4 decisions taken by the Velingrad Municipal Council on August 6 this year. All four are for sale of plots in Draginovo and according to the district court has to say whether they are legal.

SESSION The Rakitovo Municipal Council elected V.I.E. Deputy Mayor of the municipality Stoyan Dopchev. Until the elections, the mayor of Kostandovo will be Petya Yanakieva. The councillors voted for a 3.5% increase in the mayor's salaries under the PMC. After the business part, a treat was given to the councilors and employees of the municipality on the occasion of the end of the term.

MEETING The community center in Kamenitsa organized on October 3 at 17.30 a meeting with art.cor. Prof. Dr. Stoyan Mihailov. He will give a talk on "Globalization and Bulgaria's place in it".

Poet Angel Pachalov gathered colleagues and admirers of poetry on September 27 at the Velina Hotel. Mr. Pachalov told about the received in the United States distinction for poetry and read his poems.
