CONTROL The Councillor N. Vecov insisted that the commission for post-privatization control, elected a year ago, should finally gather and work, because there are signals of inadequate actions of concessionaires. The mayor announced that on 12 February he had signed an order for the commission to make checks on all contracts and concessions and by 5 April this year. to present an analysis. There was a dispute as to what period of time the committee should check, on the proposal of N. Vecov will cover the period from the establishment of the current Municipal Council.

ANALYSIS The councillors analyzed their own one-year activity and the implementation of the decisions by the municipal administration. There are no failed meetings, attendance is good, materials are provided too. A total of 47 decisions were revoked - 25 by the district governor and 22 by the councillors themselves. 9 out of 17 mayors and km. deputies did not attend any meeting of the local parliament.

ASSOCIATION After initial refusal the councilors gave their consent for the Municipality of Velingrad to become a member of the Association of Municipalities of South Central Region "Hebar". Dr. Dafov, N., were elected as representatives in the General Assembly. Kehayov and G. Mikhailov. The membership fee will be about 2000 leva. A consensus emerged that Velingrad would silently end its participation in the Association of Rhodope Municipalities (ARO). According to the mayor, ARO works solely for the interests of Smolyan.

The proposal to extend the existing ski-track in the district was not accepted. Chepino on the grounds that there is no snow there and the protected forest should not be cut down to Mount Kleptuza. The municipality will start a procedure to change the purpose of the land, on which is the old track with a length of 230 meters. About 70,000 leva are needed for the procedure.

The councilors declared the beach property in Kamenitsa private municipal property, with which the municipality participates as an in-kind contribution in the company "Terma" Ltd. with Georgi Banev. Public municipal property remains the washing machine and gully of the Elenka River. A hotel, swimming pool, restaurant and entertainment facilities will be built on the property.

ZEMIE A procedure for renting municipal agricultural land will be opened. The term of use will be 4 years, and the procedure - a contest. The basic prices for use of the acre are: for meadows - 15 BGN, for hay areas - 8 BGN, for fields - 10 BGN.

In the capital of the municipal company "Stroikom" was included site "Saddenika" with a total area of 15,771 sq.m.

The councillors postponed the proposal of "DKC 1" Ltd. to purchase 10 ambulances to serve the population from the mayoralties. Ambulances are now owned by DCC 1 where they offer two options: either the municipality to buy the ambulances at the prices of a licensed appraiser, or their value to be deducted from the due contributions for privatization of the former polyclinic. The councillors will think whether the municipality needs the old ambulances, for which more drivers and alimony will be needed.

The court procedure for the "Brick" cafe in the center of Velingrad has ended with the repeal of the decision of the Municipal Council. The councillors did not take a new decision on the site, as it does not exist on the city plan and the Expert Council to the municipality will rule first.
