The majority complied with the arguments of the district governor, who stopped as unlawful the decision of the councilors of the closed January session for new blue zones. At the February session, this decision was overturned. After long debates, the majority did not cancel, but amended the suspended decisions on the establishment plan of Sports Properties and Markets and on the purchase of a car. The 15,000 leva per car will have to be provided by over-execution of own revenues.

ASSESSMENT The valuation of the municipal part of a property with an area of 2300 sq.m. was accepted, which will be bought by the co-owner "AMOS-Sport" EAD - Draginovo. The land is valued at 11,500 leva.

The willing farmers will be able to use municipal lands and pastures during the business year 2009. The term of the contracts to be concluded by the mayor of the municipality is one year. The price for grazing of municipal measures and pastures is 1 lev per hectare.

The councilors set new prices in the Ordinance on Advertising. At the proposal of the Municipal Property Commission for renting a billboard will be paid more expensive - from 5 lv/sq.m. the price for the first zone becomes 7.50 lv/sq.m. At the suggestion of B. Golomehov for double-sided billboard tenants will pay the price not double, but at the rate of 2/3.

Aides The councillors did not provide financial assistance to fire victims. The general opinion was that the municipality will financially support only citizens who are correct payers to the municipal budget, and the damaged buildings have the necessary construction papers. The only one who is eligible and has been granted financial assistance after a fire is Rumen Tyukenov. The municipality will also help Nikolinka Krasteva, injured after a crash.

The Municipal Hospital "MHAT-Velingrad" will have a new certified public accountant. The councillors decided to conclude an audit contract for the reporting year 2008. with Orlin Barakov.

The Municipal Council gave permission for the construction of water pipelines for the transfer of mineral water to two tourist sites - the holiday base of Mini Maritsa East and Hotel Holding Ltd.

RESERVE The union of officers and sergeants from the reserve and reserve once again received for the club the cafe in the building of the municipality.
