Ethics With full unanimity, the councillors adopted a Code of Ethics, which sets out basic norms and standards for their conduct. An ethics committee was elected to oversee compliance with ethical norms and impose sanctions. The members of the committee are T. Pachalov, B. Golomehov, Sn. Veleva, A. Marekoff, B. Petricheva, V. Elichin and V. Kolchagova.



SPORT The Municipal Council approved the proposed Strategy for development of physical education and sport in the municipality of Velingrad for the period 2010 - 2015. The councillors proposed the creation of an Advisory Council on Sports with the participation of coaches, competitors and sports figures. It was specially emphasized that the site of the municipality should have richer information about sports events, hiking trails and events.

SCHOOLS The councilors supplemented the list of protected schools that are to be established by the Ministry of Education. Until now, the protected status had the school in Ablanitsa, Birkovo, Krastava and Sarnitsa. The municipality added to them the schools in Pobit Kamak and Copper Meadows and will wait for the approval of the ministry.

PRICES The table of basic rental prices for use of municipal properties was amended. From now on, for the use of land, private municipal property for sports activities will be paid 0.10 BGN/sq.m., and for buildings 0.20 BGN/sq.m. m. In public municipal property the price for sports activity will be 0.50 lv/sq.m. For the installation of a circus will be paid 500 leva per day. A fee is introduced for advertising events of companies and individuals in the central square "N. "Gyaurov" at 50 leva per hour. More expensive will now pay and political parties, which until now paid 08 lev, and now will owe 1 lev / sq.m.

The councillors approved the valuations of 5 regulated land plots of Yundola, which are to be sold through public competitions. The market value of the land of Yundola is estimated at 55 leva/sq.m, and the initial auction price of the five UPIs will be according to their quadrature

MAHALI The Municipal Council gave its consent to the formation of new regulated land properties in the three Roma neighborhoods of Asphalt Base, Anezica and Bukov Dol. The demand was because of the growing demand for housing estates.

MARKET Several events will be carried out in the Cooperative Market to improve the organization and customer service. The seven metal sheds from the northern part (from the entrance of the Trade) will be moved and installed to the existing 3 metal sheds "fungi" at the beginning of the Market. The municipal council voted to reconstruct the two public toilets and form a second fountain in the Market area. The total amount for the planned public works is 26 500 leva.
