The accounting report and balance sheet of the municipal company VKTV were accepted, which ended 2008. with a balance profit of BGN 16,000 and an increase in revenues of BGN 57,000 compared to 2007. The manager of VKTV Eng. Ibrahim Buhov said that the collection rate was increased dramatically. Venko Bozev recommended with the help of the municipality "VKTV" to start purchasing equipment to secure its work after in 2011. concluded the contract for joint activity with Eurovodcommerce. Toma Pachalov and Deputy Mayor Valya Tsvetanova insisted the company to do its job of drawing up a scheme and receiving funds for the transfer of hot mineral water. The councilors decided that the municipality should not receive 25% dividends from Stroycom for 2008. From the same pen were voted 3000 leva for the air conditioning of the Club of the Disabled, 1000 leva for the support of Diana Ksotova and 2000 leva for the home of Dimitar Kyosov injured in a fire. The councillors voted 4000 leva to co-finance the project "Better Environment for Our Children".
BEACH The Municipal Council allocated 23,000 leva for repair and commissioning of the Central Mineral Beach. After disputes over what paragraph the money should be allocated, it was decided to provide it from its own revenues in the municipal budget.
PLUVETS 17 councillors supported a proposal to allocate 5000 leva for the preparation of the swimmer Martin Batsanovza European Championship and World Swimming Championship in Rome. Mayor Ivan Lebanov repeatedly stressed that the preparation and participation of European and World Championships is taken over by the Bulgarian Swimming Federation and suggested that the amount should go to repair the Olympic-sized swimming pool on the Central Beach. After the majority of councillors allocated 5,000 leva for M. Batsanov, the mayor announced that the decision will remain unfulfilled and there will be an avalanche of requests from the other sports clubs in the municipality.
At the insistence of taxi companies from Velingrad and after disputes, the councilors amended an old decision from November 2000. The carriers insist that the municipality does not issue permits for taxi activity to companies from other municipalities to transport only to Velingrad, but not within the city. The councillors supported the request on the grounds of protecting local businesses in times of crisis.
After long delays, the Rakitova company "Daimos" received a free pass with the term of its license for laying optical cable on Blvd. "Han Asparuh" to ul. "Partyarch Euthymius". If the councillors had not postponed so much and had voted by February, the municipality would have received 7,500 leva as a fee, but now by law the passage is free of charge. At the insistence of Mayor Ivan Lebanov, the owner of "Daimos" Mr. Zahariev undertook to donate the amount of 7,500 leva for the renovation of the Central Beach.
BASKETBALL Basketball Club "Chepinets" was granted the right to use the gymnasium of Secondary School "V. Levski". A token rent will be set for the remunerated use that will enter the school's coffers.
ZINGKA Music School "Zvanche" will be helped with 3000 leva by the municipality for a trip to Berlin. On June 1, the "bells" are invited there to perform a concert for the Children's Day at the Bulgarian Cultural Institute.
