TRANSPORT The municipality will pay 90% of the travel expenses of the traveling teachers. A total of 40 principals, teachers and educators travel to their workplace by long-distance transport.

Community center "Metodi Draginov" in Draginovo was acted as a public municipal property. Until now, the property was held state-owned.

VITA Multiprofile Hospital "VITA" received permission to purchase through a competition an additional 6 sq.m. municipal land in the Beach, where it owns 30 sq.m. and on them is located the pumping station of the hospital. To get out of co-ownership mode, the municipality will separate the terrain of "VITA" of 36 sq.m. in a separate plot.

SHOP The councillors with 22 votes in favor accepted the application of the tenant ET "Palawets-Rumen Vetsov" for sale through a competition of a single-storey massive store with an area of 34 sq.m. on ul. "Mavrikovi Brothers". The store was converted from public to private municipal property and a competition for its sale will be announced.

RAMPA "Raiffeisenbank" received permission to use 15 sq.m. municipal land in front of its office in Velingrad to build an access ramp for people with disabilities. The monthly rental price is 60 leva without VAT.

SOCIAL The Municipal Council extended from 5 to 10 years the term during which the Social Assistance Directorate can use free of charge a room of 59 sq.m. on the ground floor in the building at ul. "Vincho Goranov". In June 2007 The room was given by the municipality to begin the construction of a front office for people with disabilities. Now the Agency "Social Assistance" asked for an extension of the deadline in order for the renovation of the room to be funded under the "Regional Development" program.

With a report to the Municipal Council, Mayor Ivan Lebanov proposed to be approved a parcel plan of "Road III-843 Velingrad - Sarnitsa from km 4+000 to km. 14+318.93". In these sections of the road, urgent repairs are required.

At the request of Amos Sport EAD with manager Alben Bakardzhiev, the councilors gave their consent to liquidate co-ownership in the property of the company with a total area of 2300 sq.m. The municipality will sell its part of the property to Amos Sport at prices determined by a licensed appraiser and approved by the Municipal Council.

The councillors voted to launch a procedure to legalize the Roma neighborhoods of Asphalt Base and Anezitsa. Since only a small number of houses in the neighborhoods are legal, the concept of the Municipal Administration is to be separate co-owned plots that correspond to the way of life and use.
