SESSION OBJECTIVE
BUDGET The chief accountant of the municipality Hristo Savov presented a report on the implementation of the budget for the first half of the year. Revenues were met at 53%, with the highest implementation of property taxes - 68%. The implementation is within the expected, but more than 700,000 levs remain outstanding for the companies that worked to repair the flood damage last year.

ORKESTER In September, a meeting will be held between the municipality in the person of Deputy Mayor Recep Hodzhov and the Chairman of the Committee on Education and Culture Snezhana Veleva and the Community Board of ONC "Otets Paisii". A solution will be sought to the problem of rehearsal rooms for the Spirit Orchestra and the cheerleading squad and with the funding from next year.

The councillors did not accept the administration's proposal to raise some of the fees for technical services. The requested increase was determined to be drastic - for example, the price of a certificate under paragraph 16 of the ZUT to jump from 20 to 120 levs and was refused.

AUTOGARA After a series of votes, the Municipal Council fell into a paradoxical situation at the request of Angel Tonev to supplement the booking of his bus station in the "One-Place Auto Station". The councillors' votes did not reach either acceptance or rejection of the request.

"Iglika" The prepared privatization assessment for the pastry shop "Iglika" was returned for further work. The current estimate amounts to nearly BGN 200,000, but it turns out that it does not include the cellar storage rooms. There is also a discrepancy that in the old assessment of 1995. The built-up area is 158 sq.m. plus 16.6 sq.m. cellar, and in the new one there are 190.5 sq.m.

MONEY The municipality allocated 6000 leva from over-execution of its own revenues from the budget of Draginovo Town Hall to pay for the project for a bridge over the Chepinska River in the village. 20,000 leva of the expected additional state subsidy for the second half of the year were voted to build the bust-monument of Nikolay Ghiaurov.

BTC It is allowed to pass through the street network of Velingrad of BTC AD to place an optical cable. The cable will be placed in a trench with a length of about 1 km under the project of BTC "Optical Cable Pazardzhik - Velingrad - Razlog", subproject Batak - Velingrad - Avram huts. Before the excavation works begin, BTC must submit a deposit of BGN 20,280 to the municipality. The right of use is for 20 years.
VACATION The municipal council goes on summer vacation. A regular monthly meeting is not planned for August, but if necessary the councillors will be ready to gather - a tradition that has been imposed in the last two summers because of extreme situations in the municipality.
