Unlike previous meetings, this time for the regular session of the Municipal Council on October 27, there are only 19 items on the agenda. The first decision the councillors will make is whether to allocate 3000 leva for representative expenses of Mayor Stoyan Dulev. To their attention are also several financial issues concerning the strengthening of the ski under the Elbrus Hotel, the Children's Day Center for Children with Disabilities, the monument of Nikolay Ghiaurov, a retaining wall of the school in Grashevo, etc.
Among the regulatory issues, the hottest topic is the bus station of Chepino Motor Transport. Because of the wall with which the owner encloses the private terrain, the establishments located on municipal land remain without the possibility of charging the sites. Therefore, it is proposed that the municipality make a replacement of terrains with "Interter Beev". The proposal is to replace the municipal terrain at the entrance of the bus station from the Police Station of the Ministry of Interior with the private plot of Interter Beev, parallel to the railway line from the restaurants.
The demands of two hotels will also be considered. The newly built Bor wants the municipality to allow the construction of a pool to the complex. A SPA-hotel "Light" wishes to use a parking lot to the hotel, for this purpose the municipality declared the terrain a concession. In response to the tension that has arisen among the population and the started petition for opening Velyova Banya, the Deputy Chairman of the Municipal Council Mihail Alexiev submitted a proposal to the session. Since the bathroom is state-owned, the councillors will decide whether to authorize the mayor of the municipality and the chairman of the Municipal Council to hold talks with the management of the SBR-NC and with the Regional Government. The aim is to reach an agreement to provide the means of repair and to set a deadline for its implementation. The bathroom problem is an important municipal issue that affects the interests of citizens and guests of Velingrad, is Mr. Alexiev's argument. On the problem of Velyova Banya, it is expected to discuss the municipal Commission on Monuments of Culture, as the building is exactly such a monument.
