Without much conflict passed consultations between the political parties from the municipality of Velingrad to determine the compositions of the sectional committees for the elections on September 18. It was decided that the composition of the SIC would be minimal, so as not to get further aggravation of the municipal budget. Based on the percentage distribution of parties in the current 40th National Assembly, the most members in the SIC, as well as leadership positions in them, received a Coalition for Bulgaria. Its representatives will be 118, and in 18 sections the coalition will have a chairmanship, deputy. chair and secretarial seats. 12 will be those seats for NDSV, 8 will receive DPS, 4 will have the representatives of DSB and BNS, and 5 will be for ODF.
A total of 335 people will be involved in the sectional committees on September 18, distributed in 26 rural and 25 urban sections. In those with voters under 300, the composition of the SIC will be 5-member, and in the rest with voters of 300 people, 7-member. For their work on the day of the vote, the presidents of the SIC will receive 26 levs and the members of 22 levs, 24 levs will be the fee for the secretaries. With a decision of the CECMI, a one-time reward of 350 leva will be given to the chairman of the Municipal Election Commission, 310 leva is the money for its members.
Since 19. 08 the committee started the actual roll-call registration of the mayoral candidates. According to the preliminary schedule, it will last until August 23, when the draw for the numbers of the mayoral ballots will be drawn.
