In conversation with the director of the Secondary School "V. Levski” Emil Mollov understood that the management of the school has taken seriously to raise the level of education of the students and to use the new technologies in the learning process.
On 28 March, the school's fourth computer cabinet was opened. The opening was attended by personalities holding important positions in the political world: Milena Milotinova - MP from NDSV, Atanas Vodev - temporary mayor of the municipality, Nedzhat Kehayov - chairman of the Municipal Council.
The computers are provided under the "I-class" program of the Ministry of Transport. 10 Pentium 4 configurations and one server were received. Each has DVD, Web, camera, headphones, microphones speakers. They are all connected to each other and on the Internet. The opening of the computer room was accompanied by great excitement from the teaching staff and students. All together expressed their joy at the new acquisition, as it will establish SOU "V. Levski" as a leading educational institution in the municipality. The principal of the school did not hide his future plans. A multimedia training room with a multimedia projector, a portable computer, a home cinema system and a TV set is to be opened. The hall is funded by the Peace Corps under a project prepared by volunteers Kances Laun and Simon Jamerek.
The changes don't stop there. During the summer the school building will be renovated under a project worth BGN 380,000, approved by the Social Investment Fund. The renovation includes a complete replacement of the exterior joinery with PVC, a new roof and renovation of the building to improve thermal insulation. Projects were also presented to the Kozloduy Fund for placing solar collector batteries on the roof and replacing the entire lighting installation.
In addition to improving the material and technical base, great attention is paid to the educational process as a whole, in order for the graduates of the school to be prepared for future realization in higher education institutions and for their realization in the modern world.
