INVITATION Sports Dance Club "Impulse" received for the fifth consecutive time an invitation personally from President Georgi Parvanov to take part in a solemn gala-evening on the occasion of the upcoming celebration of Slavonic writing May 24.



In the series of events for the day of sport, 17 May, the Municipal Administration joined. The municipality organized a hike to the Old Chark area.

SANDANSKI On 9 May 2009 a mini-final of the school swimming games was held in Sandanski. In the different styles and relays, Vangelina Draganova, Tsvetelina Rusinova, Mariana Marcheva, Irina Delieva, Katerina Dancheva and Vilimira Baylova from Hristo Botev Primary School, Velingrad, were unapologetically defeated.

Nearly 80 children took part in a swimming tournament dedicated to Challenge Day May 16 and Sports Day May 17. The competition was held on Saturday, at 15:00 in the indoor swimming pool. All participants were from the two active swimming clubs in Velingrad "Chepinets" and "Belmeken". The swimmers were divided into different groups according to their age, with the youngest being those born in 2002 and the highest being the age of the youngsters. 44 of the youngest swimmers received certificates for their participation.
