The women's volleyball team of "Maritza" Plovdiv chose for its summer training camp Velingrad because of the mountain climate and the appropriate sports hall. Under the guidance of head coach Ivan Petkov, volleyball players bet on daily triraz training, which ended at the end of the past week.
The Municipality of Rakitovo is developing a project for the reconstruction of the sports hall in Kostandovo. The goal is to make the sports facility multifunctional and to offer opportunities for basketball, volleyball, training and boxing and wrestling competitions. The project also includes building a gym and sauna.
