On Friday (November 2nd), a meeting between representatives of sports clubs in the municipality was held in the Center for Business and Information, organized at the invitation of T. Bozev - Head of Sport and Tourism Department. The aim was to distribute the funds from the game of the Sports Totalizer 5/35 in the amount of 4500 BGN. by the third quarter and discussing the most pressing club issues.

The meeting was attended by representatives of PK "Chepinets", PK "Dolphin", PK "Belmeken", Club of Ski Orienteering "Atlas", Biathlon - Velingrad and Ski Club "Chepinets". Among those invited were not the football clubs and the Bridge Club, since, in the words of T. Bozev, the funds will be allocated for the repair of sports facilities, and the municipality did not have any for them. The modest 4,500 was agreed. to be spent for repair of objects, included in the volume of the municipal enterprise "Sports Properties and Beaches", making the explicit remark that the money cannot be invested in objects that are converted from public to private municipal property. And of the total of 18 who manage the enterprise, according to the words of the director of N. Todev, such are: mineral beach - Chepino, mineral beach - Ludzhene, football stadium and sports hall, pitch Kalna banya, stadium Draginovo and cafe "Sports meeting" - Veliova banya. As the most pressing representatives of sports clubs pointed out the problems with the shortage of mineral water in the indoor swimming pool and the lack of sufficient lighting there. T. Bozev replied that the shortage problem will be personally informed by the Minister of Ecology Dolores Arsenova, and additional luxuries of light will be added to the current lighting. During the meeting, there was also a scandal between the chairman of the Dolphin P.C. G. Kostadinov and the Director of OP "SIP" N. Todev, who apparently had not resolved the dispute started on the pages of the newspaper "Tempo". D. Kostadinov once again accused N. Todev in disinterest in sports facilities in the city and demanded that the enterprise be closed, and the funds that went to salaries of its employees to be given to the sport. Todev replied that he would sue Kostadinov because he was turning public opinion against him. In the end, the representatives of the clubs further specified to determine by means of projects in which base and how much exactly to invest from the said funds. Nikolay Stoynov
