After 15 years, during which we went through all kinds of votes, we still can't change so that we don't look like Aleko described how Bai Ganyo makes choices. We have become so accustomed to the lack of political and human culture, to the lack of any tolerance for the other that we are threatened by atrophy of our civic reflexes. To this is added the fact that obviously in the current election campaign in Velingrad we will reap the fruits of the deep division and mutual intolerance that have prevailed over our normal human relations in the last year. The election campaign and the elections themselves will not only air the future mayor of the municipality. They will also be indicative of whether we will continue to get bogged down in apathy, whether we will comfortably lull our senses of active citizens and accept aggression as something normal. It is high time to show that in 2005. in Velingrad there is no longer room for Bai Ganyo and his followers today that we are ready to choose as civilized citizens.
