The chairman of the CoC "Abraevi" Gojko Cerovi made an official invitation to visit Valjevo to the amateurs from the theatre collective and the group for popular and urban songs to the community center "Otets Paisiy" - Velingrad. On the evening of 26 August, the Velingradians headed to the municipality of Valjevo in Serbia and Montenegro to return the visit of their colleagues who played on our stage during this year's Celebrations of Culture. In Valjevo our theater will show its new production "Mr. Puntila and his servant Matti". The folk humor of Bertold Brecht, directed by Veselin Kovachev and with Tsvetan Kotev in the central roleq won a lot of admirers in Velingrad, they liked it in Karlovo, Peshtera, Kostandovo, and now it will sound abroad. The performance is included in the program of the festival "Teshnyarski evenings" in Valjevo. The amateurs departed from Velingrad together with the sets, including the car, which had to be disassembled to shine Mr. Puntila in all his dignity.
On the festival stage will also participate the singers from the group for popular songs to ONCH "Otets Paisiy" led by Ivan Kazaliev. The program of velingradians provides a meeting with the deputy mayor of Valjevo municipality and a view of the historical landmarks. As soon as they return from Serbia and Montenegro, they will travel to a creative camp on the Black Sea coast. There will begin the preparation for the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the theatre troupe to the community center, which we will celebrate in 2005.
