Mr. Georgi Tselev, owner of three gas stations and one gas station in Velingrad, was detained by the authorities of the Ministry of Interior on September 18. The arrest was made in the area of SHEL gas station in Pazardzhik during a specialized inspection with the participation of a representative from the National Organized Crime Office (NSBOP). Mr. Tselev's initial detention was for 24 hours on charges that he was making preparations for the murder of another Velingrad businessman from the oil industry. An illegally owned gun was found on the detainee. Late in the evening of September 18, Georgi Tselev was taken to a Pazardzhik hospital with a hypertensive crisis, where he was left under police supervision in the following days. According to the head of the RDP - Pazardzhik, Zhoro Stoitsev, this case is about a conflict of interest. In the field of the oil business, the public conflicts between the companies of Georgi Tselev and the Beevi family are known in connection with the privatization of the DAP, the gas station of Sarnitsa and others. Months ago from the cashier of ET "G. A large amount of money (about BGN 100,000 according to police data) was stolen, and at the beginning of the year the businessman's son suffered severely in an attack by unannounced public beatings.
In Velingrad, Mr. Tselev is known as the main sponsor of the Impulse Dance Club, one of the local founders of the recently established Union of Free Democrats.
