This week with the volleyball tournament will end the school games organized by the Municipality of Velingrad. The awarding of the winners is scheduled for February 11 and will take place in the big hall of the municipality.
Here's what the results look like and the ranking so far:
Only representatives of two schools competed in the boys, the chief judge was Velko Kleshkov. In the final ranking first is SOU "St. Sv. Cyril and Methodius" - Sarnitsa and second OU "Hr. Botev" - Velingrad.
In juniors, the interesting and contested tournament was won by the Vocational High School of Woodworking "Yves. Vasov", followed by the school in Sarnitsa. The results of the individual meetings are:
PGGS "Hr. Botev" - PGD "Iv. 0:3; Secondary School "Sv. Cyril and Methodius" - PGGS "Hr. Botev” 1:2; PGD “Iv. Vazov" - SOU Sarnitsa 2:1; PGD "Iv. Vazov" - SOU "SV.Sv. Cyril and Methodius " 2:1; SOU Sarnitsa - PGGS "Hr. Botev” 2:1; SOU “St. Sv. Cyril and Methodius" - SOU Sarnitsa 1:2.
SWIMMING
In the boys SOU "St. Sv. Cyril and Methodius” prevailed with a total of 168 points over Secondary School “V. Levski" with 75 points. The same school won the tournament in girls and juniors, and in girls official victory recorded SOU "V. Levski". The referee of the tournament was Yordanka Penina.
BASKETBALL
The basketball meetings were held in the gymnasium of Secondary School "V. Levski". Organizers resorted to this option after receiving a refusal from Krasimir Beev training and matches to be played in the sports hall of the City Stadium. The main judge of the tournament was Kuncho Karadjov. Six school teams participated in the tournament in boys and girls, in juniors measured strength five teams, and in girls the team of SOU "V. Levski” won ex officio.
Boys: The separate meetings with the boys ended with the following results: OU "N. Rila" - SOU "V. Levski” 28:42; OU “Hr. Botev" - SOU "St. Sv. Cyril and Methodius" 27:17; OU "N. Rila" - SOU "St. Sv. Cyril and Methodius" 52:19; SOU "V. Levski" - OU "Hr. Botev" - official victory for SOU; OU "N. Rila" - OU "Hr. Botev” 32:19; SOU “St. Sv. Cyril and Methodius" - SOU "V. Levski” 34:52.
