With a valuable victory that he scored against the capital Spartak, the Chepinets-Beev team climbed to second place in the standings in the B group.
The meeting was played on Sunday at Rakovski Stadium in the Ivan Vazov neighborhood in Sofia. Predictably, the game began with superiority of the hosts, who opened the score in the 8th minute. The players of Chepinets-Beev started a little worried, timid and uncertain, and the hosts were much more assertive in the attacks. However, the first half ended at a minimum of 1:0. For the citizens of Velingrad, a single opportunity was opened before Angel Boikinov, who, however, was fouled in front of the penalty area.
A radical change in the game of Chepinets-Beev was seen in the second half. The guests played furiously, looking for an equalization of the score and quickly achieved it. Already in the 49th minute with a nice combination ahead was brought out V. Kadyov, who from a small stroke scored a goal for 1: 1. Okrileni, the players of Chepinets-Beev continued in offensive style and in the 58th minute after centering Chushkov overtook the defense and scored with his head. After taking the lead, the Velingradians took the initiative entirely and naturally in the 74th minute they led with 1: 3. The third goal was realized by Biser Vlaikov, who overcame the goalkeeper and stuck the ball into the net. The hosts had nothing left but to try a desperate assault. Their efforts were crowned with success 7 minutes before the end, when Spartak scored a second goal and reduced the difference to the final 2:3.
