Velingrader Alexander Darakchiev said on Sunday (January 13th) on Diema Plus TV that he organized the establishment of a national fan club of Liverpool FC in Bulgaria. The 23-year-old aficionado reported this at half-time of the game between Arsenal and Liverpool. In a deliberate conversation the following week, Alexander also announced the details to the Tempo newspaper.

In November, the Beatles city fan came into contact with fan club representative for the whole world Susan Elliott, who sent him the terms of membership. And they are: 70 pounds membership fee per year for the whole club and not less than 25 members. After several meetings and conversations with Diema Plus journalist Veselin Vasilev, Alexander was invited to explain to the numerous fans of English football and especially to those of Liverpool his idea. Ten days later, the first willing members are already available. It is not yet clear when the establishment of the fan club will take place, but it is likely to wait for the visit of Liverpool in neighboring Turkey to Galatasaray in a Champions League match, when the CSKA fan club will organize an excursion for the match, on which Alexander hopes to win new supporters of the idea.
