The new interim mayor Stoyan Dulev approved the resignation submitted by the Deputy Mayor for European Integration Milyan Arsov. His request for release Mr. Arsov deposited on June 21. For the time being, a new Deputy Mayor for European Integration will not be appointed. This also calls into question the specially created department of European integration, in which young specialists were appointed. The other deputy mayor, Recep Hodzhov, who also deposited his resignation on 21 June, however, remained in his post.
Mr. Dulev also released the new director of the Education, Culture and Religions Directorate Nedyalka Stefanova. The motives are that after the contest she won she was appointed with a trial period and was therefore released without notice. Real Nedyalka Stefanova was director of one of the toughest directorates in the municipality for less than three weeks - too short a time to judge one's professionalism. It is expected that within days the administration will remain without an ecologist.Only the fact that Zdravka Vodeva, who worked in this position for 6 months, is in sick leave, for the time being hinders her actual release. In order not to renew her 6-month contract, most likely her participation in the Municipal Election Commission from the quota of the NDSV voted for the termination of Fidel Beev's mayoral powers. In this case, the failure to cope with the work cannot be used as a reason, because since the beginning of the year the only project won by the municipality of Velingrad is precisely in the field of ecology.
