On October 28, the Municipal Council voted 4 decisions to help at least temporarily reduce social tensions in the municipal company Stroycom. All councillors except those of the Green Party supported the decisions as the only opportunity for the nearly 130 employees of Stroycom to receive wages for September. The main decision was to conclude a contract for crediting Stroycom by the other 100% municipal company VKTV for BGN 20 thousand with which to pay the salaries. On November 8, the interim mayor of the municipality, Stoyan Dulev, contested all 4 decisions for Stroycom. Its motive is that they are contrary to the interests of the municipality and therefore wants to be repealed as unlawful.
The challenge by Stoyan Dulev stopped the implementation of the decisions by postponing in time the receipt of the loan and payment of salaries. This raised further tension among the employees of Stroycom, which is growing from day to day thanks to the absurd situation created by the temporary mayor Dulev back in August for two companies to clean up the city.
Due to another dispute by the Vrid mayor, the Municipal Council met in an extraordinary session on November 16. The expectation is that the councillors have the will to confirm their decisions and thus overturn the challenge. But Stoyan Dulev is unlikely to cheat on his previous practice to stop any action in favor of the municipal "Stroycom" to guarantee the activity of the other company that cleans - "Beev and Beev". Mr. Dulev himself directly told the councilors weeks ago that he would contest their decisions and if they revote them, he would send them to court.
