"Golden Fish" set a record in mass

In the 35th consecutive swimming competition "Golden Fish" on 12 and 13 June in Velingrad was set a record in number of participants. At the start stood 351 swimmers from 35 clubs in the country, greeted before the start of the competition by the mayor of the municipality F. Beev. Organizers of the event were the Federation of Swimming Sports and Chepinets Swimming Club - Velingrad. The head of the competition was Tanya Bogomilova and Chief Justice Hristo Doksinov.
Golden Fish was attended by children from the 1994/95 set, where the Velingrad swimming clubs have not had strong performances for years. The prize places took large swimming schools such as "Mladost" Plovdiv, "Levski" Sofia, "Iris" Ruse, "Shipka" Sofia and others.
In the baton for the girls floats of PK Belmeken, Natalia Toleva, Vangelina Draganova, Tsvetelina Rusinova and Gergana Poibrenska took 14th place. Competitors of PK "Chepinets" Veronika Manuilova, Eli Daskalova, Vera Vargova and Mariana Margova are in 19 position. In the boys, the baton of PK Belmeken is 13th in the composition Khaled Hamun, Zapryan Topuzov, Ivan Zinkov and Angel Matsanov. PK "Chepinets" took 17th place with team Dimitar Pitsev, Dimitar Shulev, Plamen Semerdzhiev, Nikola Bilyarski.
The next race is the "Merry Dolphin", where prizes are expected for local swimmers.
